B.Pharm is a 4-year undergraduate degree program that focuses on the study of pharmaceutical sciences including drug formulation, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and pharmacy practice. It prepares students for roles in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries by combining theoretical knowledge with practical training in drug development and patient care.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects. A minimum of 45–50% aggregate marks is required. A University Entrance Test is conducted for admission.
Graduates of B.Pharm can pursue careers in pharmaceutical industries, hospitals, drug regulatory agencies, or academic and research institutions. They are qualified for roles such as drug safety associate, medical representative, production executive, or can pursue higher studies like M.Pharm or MBA in healthcare.
